Certified Sustainability

Sustainability certifications are critical in a world filled with greenwashing and vague sustainability claims. We are proud to hold so many certifications for our materials, products and business practices. Our certifications verify that our practices and products are eco-friendly.

FSC® certified

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification protects our forests and their communities from being damaged.

It shows we’re committed to sustainable sourcing. FSC-certified forests and the materials they produce must adhere to strict environmental, social and economic standards. Look for our FSC-certified products throughout our website.

Recycled 100 Certification

The Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) verifies the percentage of recycled content and tracks it from the source to the final product.

Products certified to the Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) contain recycled content that has been independently verified at each stage of the supply chain, from the source to the final product.

Products certified to the Recycled Claim Standard 100 (RCS 100) contain at least 95% certified recycled content.

Recycled Blended certification

The Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) verifies the percentage of recycled content and tracks it from the source to the final product.

Products certified to the Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) contain recycled content that has been independently verified at each stage of the supply chain, from the source to the final product.

Products certified to the Recycled Claim Standard Blended (RCS Blended) contain between 5-94% certified recycled content.

Sedex member

We work closely with Sedex, a sustainability solutions platform that allows us to monitor our supply chains closely, comply with regulations and maintain sustainability.

We use Sedex’s data-driven tools to monitor and ensure our sustainable practices. You can be sure it's a top priority for us at Weavabel.

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100

The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 goes beyond sustainability. It ensures every part of a product, has been tested for harmful substances and is safe for human health.

It ensures no harmful substances have been used throughout the supply chain which could harm the environment. View certificate.

GRS-certified

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) verifies the percentage of recycled content and tracks it from the source to the final product.

Products certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) contain recycled content that has been independently verified at each stage of the supply chain, from the source to the final product. In addition, facilities from the source to the final supplier have met social, environmental, and chemical requirements.

UKFT member

We’re a member of the UK Fashion & Textile Association (UKFT), a body dedicated to developing the industry through innovation, sustainability and collaboration.

The UKFT works across various sustainability projects, including the new Circular Fashion Innovation Network with the British Fashion Council, waste sorting, digital supply chains and industry programmes.

As a member, we support and are involved in these initiatives, helping the fashion and textiles industry reverse its environmental impact.

ISO 9001 & 14001 certified

ISO 9001 & 14001 are two certifications that monitor business management and procedures.

ISO 9001 assess and evaluates our quality management system. Management must demonstrate their commitment to a sustainable future. View ISO 9001 certificate.

ISO 14001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS). It provides a framework and guidance on how a business can reduce its impact on the environment. View ISO 14001 certificate.

Higg Index member

The Higg Index was developed to help brands like ours measure the sustainability of its products, practices and supply chains.

There are five tools we can use to measure environmental performance so we can analyse the results and make improvements.

This shows our dedication to continuous improvement around sustainability, as well as sharing our eco-friendly practices with our customers.

Retraced collaboration

Retraced is the leading platform for corporate sustainability due diligence in textile and fashion - enabling brands and retailers to be truly transparent.

It connects supply chain companies in a single platform for transparent supplier mapping, product traceability and material traceability.

LWG-certified

Leather Working Group (LWG) is a global organisation committed to building a sustainable future with responsible leather. There are gold, silver and bronze levels to recognise environment and ethical practices. Weavabel can provide LWG certified leather.

Bombiix partnership

Bombiix is a leading Digital Product Passport (DPP) platform designed to help brands manage, structure and share product data with ease.

Together with Weavabel, it enables seamless data integration, supporting product traceability, regulatory compliance and transparent communication across the supply chain and to the end consumer.
